In late May, the who’s who of the fine jewelry industry gathered in Nevada, as they do every year, for one of the largest and most important jewelry tradeshows in the world — JCK Las Vegas. Featured on the program was Amanda Gizzi, director Real 18k Gold Replica Van Cleef Arpels Perlee Necklace of public relations and special events for the trade association “Jewelers of America,” who predicted the important Fall 2018 jewelry trends…and looked beyond to 2015.

In addition to announcing 14 major jewelry trends, Ms. Gizzi presented the color palette for Fall 2018, concentrating on four Pantone colors as the top shades for the season: Aurora Red, Radiant Orchid, Royal Blue, and Sangria. She also shared red carpet trends and smaller trends that impact what women will be wearing this fall and winter including: pinky rings; hand chains; nontraditional rings and earrings such as ear climbers and wearing just one earring or non-matching earrings; and color drop earrings.

Ms. Gizzi declared that the trend of the year is the horse — or any jewelry that is equestrian-inspired (it is, of course, the Year of the Horse on the Chinese calendar). We’ll report separately on equestrian-themed jewelry, as we did last summer, in a future post. But for now, we bring you a behind-the-scenes look at the trends Ms. Gizzi shared with America’s jewelers at JCK Las Vegas.
