Global color authority Pantone has named its 2018 Color of the Year: Greenery, Pantone 15-0343. According to the Pantone people, Greenery is “a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore, and renew.”
For jewelry lovers, the Replica Cartier Love Necklace gemstone that most closely fits Greenery’s description is peridot, a that borders on neon green. When you consider that green is “nature’s neutral,” you’ll find many ways to incorporate Greenery — and peridot — into your fashion and jewelry wardrobes.

Power Color
In the coming year you can expect to see Greenery pop up in fashions, beauty products, housewares, and many other consumer categories. Such is the power that Pantone’s annual color coronation wields. Pantone’s Color of the Year selection was not exactly a surprise, however; it had already listed Greenery in its top 10 colors for Spring 2018.
Fashion designers have been in love with the sprightly green color for several seasons now. This was especially evident in the Spring 2018 collections, where yellowy greens turned up as solids or as the dominant colors in fabulous floral prints.
Jewelry designers have “gone green” as well in the past year: there has been an uptick in sales of peridot jewelry at every price point, retailers report.
Peridot, Diamond and Moonstone Earrings
Opposites Attract
Pantone says Greenery Fake Cartier Juste Un Clou Necklace can successfully color-block (mix solids) with many other palettes that are neutral, bright, metallic, and more. Not only does peridot work with gold or silver, it “plays well” with its complementary colored gemstones.
Greens and pinks (with reds) are opposites on the color wheel, so consider a piece of jewelry featuring peridot with pink spinel or tourmaline – a fresh and playful combo that evokes Palm Beach and the tropics.
Also, look to vintage and estate sites like for “previously loved” peridot designs. Add a piece of Greenery to your jewelry box in 2018…you’ll be glad you did!
